The Nullifiers are a group of unimaginably powerful and evil beings from Huntik that Lord Casterwill and the Titans fought for 500 years. Their presence brought destruction to the world.

History[]

S2E49 Void 2

Void, the Nullifier scout

According to legend, the Nullifers were a group of unimaginably evil beings that originated from Huntik. S2E31 Long before recorded history, a single Nullifier scout, Void, found Earth by chance and created the Spiral Mark as a beacon to signal his brethren to Earth. S2E49 They were opposed by Lord Casterwill, the first Seeker, who summoned the Titans to Earth to fight a war against this threat. After a fierce 500-year conflict, Lord Casterwill was finally able defeat the Nullifiers, and sealed the Spiral Mark with a powerful spell so that no evil Seekers could ever gain use of it. This spell could only be broken by the Willblade and the power of Void on the longest night of the year with the Red Comet approaching Earth. S2E50

After the death of Lord Casterwill, however, his most trusted friend betrayed Casterwill and his family, by attempting to call the Nullifiers back to Earth by performing a dark ritual at the Spiral Mark. In his hand was the Amulet of Void. S2E31 The Betrayer had enchanted a Nullifier artifact, Necklace of Tutankhamun, to control the Nullifiers. S2E47 This time, the Betrayer was opposed by the elder and younger sons and the elder and younger daughters of Casterwill, as well as his Champion. After another conflict, they defeated the Betrayer and sealed the Mark again, preventing the return of the Nullifiers. S2E31

Void's Amulet was taken into safekeeping by the Casterwill family where it remained for generations until, in the modern age, the Organization managed to steal it from them. It was then kept in Klaus' bookshop. S2E31 Eventually, despite the attempts of the Huntik Foundation to recover it, the Amulet fell into the hands of Blood Spiral, a group devoted to bringing back the Nullifiers to end all civilisation. S2E32

S2E49 Rassimov summons Void hunters

Rassimov summons Void

On the longest night of the year, Rassimov summoned Void to reveal the Spiral Mark once more. S2E49 Following the revelation that the Red Comet had changed course to hit the spot of the Spiral Mark, Rassimov revealed his own scheme to double cross the Betrayer and the other Spirals, planning to control the Nullifiers with the Necklace of Tutankhamun. Void teleported Rassimov into space to the Red Comet. However, as the Comet collided with the pair, the Necklace was disintegrated and Rassimov was killed in the process, although the status of Void remains unknown. S2E50

The Betrayer had set events into motion to allow for his own return. Using his own power, the Betrayer was able to activate the Spiral Mark and for the return of the Nullifiers before he was defeated by the Casterwill-Foundation alliance. However, despite the defeat of the Betrayer, the Spiral Mark still appeared to be active, signalling to something far across the galaxy. S2E52
